Behavioral Based Interviewing focuses on experiences, behaviors, knowledge, skills and abilities that are job related. It is based on the belief that past behavior and performance predicts future behavior and performance. You may use work experience, activities, hobbies, volunteer work, school projects, family life - anything really - as examples of your past behavior. Current employment literature indicates that there is a strong trend toward this type of interviewing.
 

How would you answer these Top 10 behavioral interview questions?  

Top Behavioral Job Interview Question 1. :

Tell me about a time you had to meet a deadline. Describe the deadline. Describe the steps you took in order to achieve the deadline. Were you successful?

Top Behavioral Job Interview Question 2. :

If I were to ask a friend or coworker to describe you, what would they say?

I believe she would say I'm a very energetic person, that Im results oriented and one of the best people she has ever worked with. Actually, I know she would say that, because those are her very words. May I show you her letter of recommendation?

Always have some questions prepared ready to ask your interviewers.  Not having interview questions ready is one of the three most common interview mistakes.
